NCPP Bournemouth University

Professor Lee-Ann Fenge

Director of the Centre of Seldom Heard Voices, Marginalisation and Societal Integration / NCPQSWPP

Lee-Ann is a Registered Social Worker and has always been committed to advancing the professional evidence base of health and social care practitioners. Her research has focused on participatory and arts based methods to engage with seldom heard voices, and she is passionate about working in partnership with those who use health and social care services to create new knowledge to inform practice.

Her research includes participatory arts-based projects with older LGBT citizens, young people with disabilities, and homeless people.

Lee-Ann has also led and developed research within the NCPQSWPP concerning workforce development and service evaluation, and more recently research into those at risk of financial scams.  As part of this she is currently working on a Higher Education Innovation Fund  project exploring the use of gamification to develop understanding of the risks posed by financial scams for older people and practitioners.
