Dr Orlanda Harvey
Orlanda recently completed her PhD exploring men’s recreational use of Androgenic Anabolic Steroid Use. She is now a senior lecturer in Social Work, specialising in Developing Professional Relationships on the qualifying social work programmes. She also leads the leading change and strategic leadership units as part of the health and social care continuing professional development qualifications. Her research interests include domestic violence and abuse, and critical reflection on practice. Previous Career: Orlanda qualified as a Social Worker in 2016 and has worked in the Addiction and Adult Social Work fields. Prior to that, she was a learning and development professional (with an interest in leadership and management). She has 17 years’ experience: including roles at both Bournemouth and Cranfield University and also working for Amazon. She started her career as an Officer in the Royal Air Force.
